Testing
Testing for grades 3–8 started today. Please ensure your students are present, well-rested, and ready for these important assessments.
Middle School Volleyball Tryouts
Volleyball tryouts for girls in grades 6 through 8 will take place tomorrow and Wednesday, August 19 and 20, from 4:30–6:00 PM in the TTCS Gymnasium.
Athletes must attend both days.
Athletes, please come prepared to play.
These are closed tryouts — no parents or younger siblings will be allowed in the gym.
Food Pantry
The TTCS Food Pantry will be open for families after school on Wednesday, August 20th. Please come fill a box with food and other household supplies for you and your family! Meet at the front desk at 3:30pm. Regular ongoing schedule for the Food Pantry this year will be the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month after school. See you Wednesday!
Music Opportunities
Chorus tryouts will be held this Friday, August 22nd at 8:00 AM at the front of the school for students in grades 3–8. Please arrive on time, as we cannot wait past 8:00 AM and the building will not be accessible for late arrivals.
Mariachi Turquesa is back this September! They rehearse Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:45 a.m. and perform at two school concerts each year—last year they even performed for the New Mexico Legislature. We have 20 spots, and some are opening up. Any students in grades 5–8, including previous members, who can commit to rehearsals should come to the Music Room this Friday from 9:10–9:40 a.m. to pick up signup materials.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
Morning Care drop off for PreK–8 is available from 7:30 to 7:45 AM. Regular drop-off begins at 8:30 AM .
Pick-Up Times are as follows: Monday through Thursday: 4:00 PM and Fridays early release a 3:00 PM
End of Day Pick-Up Locations
PreK–2nd Grade: Pick up directly from the classroom
3rd–8th Grade: Pick up at the front of the school
Families with multiple children: Older siblings go to the youngest sibling’s classroom (Pre-K excluded)
Cell Phone/Smart Watch Expectations
To support a focused and respectful learning environment, students are not permitted to use their cell phones or smart watches during instructional hours. Phones/watches must be turned off and stored in backpacks or lockers throughout the school day. Please reach out to Principal Leslie Meehan with any questions lmeehan@ttschool.org

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to finalize bus rosters, as well as pick-up and drop-off times. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
