Let's show our teachers what they truly mean to us.  Talk to our volunteer coordinator Tammi Padilla about helping with the weeklong event the PTO organizes, or do something special for your specific teachers.  

Culture Fair

April 27th, 2017

Each classroom is studying different cultures of the world in preparation for the CULTURE FAIR! 

School wide Assembly -        8:15 – 9:00  Each class will present a quick introduction about the culture their class studied.

Classroom visits –                  9:30 – 10:30  After the assembly, we will have the opportunity to visit other classrooms to see what they learned about the various cultures they studied.

 Parents, please come and participate

K – Ms Graham / Ms Brown - Venice, Ms Oler – kids’ own cultures

1st – 5 animal and plant habitats around the world – Arctic, grasslands, savanna, chihuahuan desert and the other one

2nd – Amazon Rainforest (endangered)

3rd – Trickster tales from around the world

4th – National parks of NM – land formations

5th – Ms Herd, Ms Mia and Ms Katie - undersea culture, (Ms Katie student immigration studies)

6th – Bandelier / Ancient Puebloans / petroglyphs -

Music Festival for the Arts at Turquoise Trail

Make a special note and mark you calendars for Saturday September 10th 

TTCS and The Bridge, Santa Fe’s newest and best outdoor performance venue, will present: a Music Festival for the Arts at Turquoise Trail !!!

Sol Fire, Joe West, Round Mountain, The Busy Band, Hill Stompers  and The Pleasure Pilots will perform from 2-10 pm for your listening and dancing pleasure! Food trucks and fun. 100% of the donation entrance fee will go towards the performing arts programs at   TTCS: NDI, band, choir, singing song-writing club and the drama club will all benefit from this benefit. Tell your friends and join us to celebrate the arts at TTCS.
