Talent Show is coming up! It will be the Thursday after Spring Break - March 29th.
Check out the Talent Tryout Schedule 2018.pdf
Again this year, in the afternoon there will be a Talent Showcase for about 20 of the highest scoring acts, which will be attended by the whole school and open to the public, as well as a Talent Workshop in the morning, open to any and all classes and families. In this way we can accommodate as many of the appropriate acts as can fit in a day!
To perform, students must:
1) Sign up (between next Wednesday, Feb. 21 and Tuesday, Feb. 27th in music class). All students in every act must sign up to try out. At signup time, students will receive permission slips.
2) Try out (between Monday, March 5th and Thursday, March 8th, during music class). Students must have returned permission slips to try out. To score the acts, we’re looking for volunteers! Please contact Tammie Padilla firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to come and score some terrific talent!
We will accommodate as many appropriate acts as possible. Parents, please help your kids choose an act that is right for an elementary school audience (PreK-6, ages 5-12). I’m including a rubric that will be used to score the acts as well. If you have questions, please email email@example.com
